Eggstravaganza at Church!

We bundled up the girls and headed off to the chiro (firm believer in chiro - especially with kiddos...ask me someday why...and if you are a chiro naysayer - sorry, I love you but don't want to hear the "they only get into your pockets and do no good...or they hurt people" do your research and you will be amazed; if it's done correctly and if you find a good, honest doc results will follow!)...now that I started this side note, I'll continue; did you know that the first chiropractic practice helped a man who had no reason to be deaf (was no genetic link, no other cause other than maybe a nerve or nervous system interruption) he got adjusted and within a few adjustments (clearing of central nervous system interruptions) he was able to hear - also my aunt has a little girl she knows with leukemia. She (the little girl) had a horrible sinus infection that was going to require surgery but she was so sick from treatment that they were not able to perform the surgery (awful catch 22). My aunt suggested seeing a chiropractor, the oncologist approved it and within a few adjustments her sinus infection was completely gone - gone!! I was sick with mastitis, 103 fever, chills and ready to see the doctor when I decided to go to chiro instead - within 8 hours and with no antibiotics - fever was gone, mastitis pain was subsiding, engorgement was reducing and I was a bunch better! I have never given the girls antibiotics for ear infections - always head off to get adjusted and ALWAYS the infection is gone on the follow up doctor visit! Since being adjusted during a migraine headache 2+ years ago (after suffering for over 15 years!) I have not had another one!! This is why I am a firm believer in good (I have found the greastest guy and now all 4 of us go!) chiropractic care...ok, so I digress!

So we went to the chiro and then off to the Easter egg hunt at church. It was packed, kiddos everywhere, appearances by Elmo (affectionately called Elno by Reese), Spiderman, Tigger and the Easter Bunny. Camryn loved the characters; Reese not so much! We had fun letting them wander around and then filed in line to get ready for the "hunt" (which was really just a candy free for all in a field - but still fun). Camryn had gone last year with our friends (and her best buddy Ev) so she was an old pro! This was Reese's first day out and I am so proud of our little egg getter - she did AWESOME!!! She got as much (if not more) candy then Cam - and she was proud of it!

Here's some pics from our fun day...

I LOVE a good chiropractor. I had one that I really liked before we moved. The one I go to in our new town is OK too though. Surely helps me. He's really into homeopathic remedies. He says that a little garlic oil in ears for infections helps draw out the infection. Haven't had the occasion to try it yet. His wife has even given birth to his 7 or so kids at home in a hot tub. He's a little more "natural" than I am used to, but I do love feeling fresh after a visit.
